You can request a dental examination and cleaning estimate without dental insurance. Ask whether the quoted appointment includes the exam, any indicated X-rays, and a basic cleaning, and what happens if a different cleaning is diagnosed. A promotional package should not substitute for an explanation of the care you need.
The examination and the cleaning have different jobs: one evaluates oral health, while the other removes deposits. A patient may need a routine cleaning, periodontal treatment, or another plan based on the findings. Your booking should allow that distinction to be explained before additional treatment or charges are agreed.
